What Is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy that focuses on how the body’s structure influences its function. It involves assessing and treating muscles, joints, connective tissue, and the nervous system to restore natural balance and movement.

By addressing the underlying causes of pain or dysfunction rather than just the symptoms, osteopathy encourages the body’s innate ability to heal itself. This gentle, holistic approach is suitable for people of all ages from newborns to adults, and can assist with issues such as back pain, headaches, postural strain, and recovery after injury.
